Project Steps

  • The objective of this project is to help Shiksha become the No. 1 destination for college reviews where all future generations of college students can find the right colleges for themselves. Students working on this project will be required to do the following:
  • Identify a target set of students & alumni from Any College or Course - Batchmates/ Classmates/ Juniors/ Seniors/ Alumni - keeping in mind the following Eligibility Criteria:
    1. 1st/2nd/ 3rd/4th/ Final Year students of UG courses are eligible to submit reviews for their UG college.
    2. 1st/2nd/ 3rd/4th/ Final Year students of PG courses are eligible to submit reviews for their PG college as well as their UG college.
    3. For alumni/ graduated students - Only those people who had graduated from the course/ college in or after 2013, are eligible to submit their reviews.
  • Approach these target People/ Groups by sharing your "Personal & Unique Review Link" via WhatsApp, Facebook or any other medium where these people are available. Also, share with them a Google Form Link which they should fill after posting their Review on Shiksha.com. (Both the Unique Review Link & Google Form Link will be shared with you by the Project Manager)
  • Likewise, get 15+ Text reviews OR 10 Text Reviews + 1 Video Review submitted through them. Aim for more Reviews (at least 20 to 25) so that 15 out of all the submitted reviews get Published by the Shiksha team at the time of approvals.
  • Apply if you like to work at your own convenience anytime, anywhere and add that extra Pointer to your CV to separate yourself from the crowd.

Expected Project Output

Get a minimum of 15 Text Reviews OR 10 Text + 1 Video Review (Published or Approved by Shiksha Team) from students/ alumni of Any College or Course (UG/ PG/ Both). Your Rejection Rate should also be less than 25% in order to be eligible for the Project Completion Certificate.

Additional Incentives:
Students who are able to get 40+ Text Reviews OR 8+ Video Reviews (Published or Approved) along with a Rejection Rate of less than 25%, will be provided a Performance Incentive of Rs. 1200/-

Who Should Apply to this Project:
1. Students who are currently engaged in Summer Internships but would like to pick another Project Completion Certificate on the side. Students who are on the lookout to add that Extra Edge to their Resume!
2. Students who play an active role in various College Activities, Clubs, Events, etc. and have a good network of friends in their Campus or Other Campuses.
3. People who like to work as per their own schedules and are willing to put in 10 hours of work for a period of two weeks.
4. Students who are comfortable with using Social Media and other group communication tools/ apps to approach and convince potential reviewers to put up their reviews on Shiksha.
5. Target Oriented - people who have the drive to go the extra mile and achieve the predefined targets and deadlines.
6. People who have good interpersonal skills, are good at convincing people and are looking to pick up skills or experience in Marketing/ Branding/ customer engagement/ etc.

NOTE:
Once students are selected, the Project Manager will send an Email Invite to all these students to join their project group on "Basecamp3" - A Project Management App & Website. All further interactions between students & the Project Manager will take place via this Basecamp Group. Therefore, please be on the lookout for the Email Invitation and follow the steps mentioned in the email to register and start interacting on the Basecamp.

Type of Interaction
