Project Steps

  • Students will be required to approach sellers in and around their neighborhood to get details of the various Traditional (Non-Allopathic) Digestive Products they sell and also approach the customers visiting these shops about the usage of these digestive products in their households. The details that a students will be required to collect are: Product Details & Experiences as per the Research Questionnaire and Pictures of the Products.
  • This will require the following steps:
    1. Identify Shops/Stores in your neighborhood and locality where you can approach their sellers for this Market Research. (Target Sellers can be from Departmental Stores, Provision Stores, Movable and Immovable Stalls, Pharmacies, Ayurvedic Stores, Kiosks, etc)
    2. Visit the shops/stores, tell them about the survey and interact with the sellers to conduct the survey.
    3. Fill the questionnaire (will be provided by the project manager), capture images of the products (as per guidelines given by project manager).
    4. Share the duly filled questionnaire responses along with the photographs with the Project Manager.
  • Similarly,
    1. Identify customers from your personal network, family, friends, relatives, neighbours, etc those who use traditional digestive products in their day to day life so that you can approach them for this Market Research.
    2. Tell them about the Survey and interact with them to conduct the survey.
    3. Fill the questionnaire (will be provided by the project manager), capture images of the digestive products they have purchased (as per guidelines given by project manager).
    4. Share the duly filled questionnaire responses along with the photographs with the Project Manager.

Expected Project Output

1. Conduct the Survey at 5 different Shops/Stores from the sellers and 5 customers from your network who uses the digestive products
2. Submit the filled questionnaires along with pictures as per guidelines.

Type of Interaction

Virtual with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 10 hours/week. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
