  • Understand the product and service offerings of the company and assess the current health status of the company website via a comprehensive SEO Audit. This will include the following tasks:
  • Keyword Research: Identify the Popular 10-20 Key Words (i.e., Specific Words most used by Customers to search online for Products/ Services that the company offers Vs those used by Your Company Vs those used by Key Competitors).
  • Search Engine Ranking & Visibility: Evaluate the ranking & visibility of the company's website against each keyword identified as compared to the ranking of the competitors.
  • Web Content Optimization: Evaluate the Website Content (Web Pages, Page Titles, Product descriptions, Meta descriptions, etc.) to determine the usage of Targeted Keywords. Check them against optimization standards Eg., usage of Key words, highlighting USPs, compelling enough for the users, word limits, standard character limit, etc.
  • Evaluate the Internal Links (Website Navigation) - Check whether the navigation from one page to another is user friendly, if there are enough links to various products/ pages/ to keep the user engaged, etc. Also, check for and note any broken links that might exist in the website.
  • Evaluate the External Links (Number of Back links to the company's website) - Check the number of other external sites/ pages who have included links to the company's website in their own web pages. Also assess the quality of these links & their content.
  • Prepare a SWOT Report on the SEO for the company's website as compared to their competitors, and provide recommendations to strengthen the current SEO Strategy.

Type of Interaction

Virtual with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 10 hours/week. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
