Project Steps

  • redBus has now started providing a "Student Special Service" for specific colleges where a large portion of the students are from other outstations/ non-locals. In order to tap these students who travel regularly to their hometowns using bus services, redBus has introduced special bus services wherein the Buses start from right outside their colleges, thus helping the students avoid unnecessary travel to bus stations & associated expenses. Currently the student special service is active in Pune where the colleges listed below as the boarding points:
    1. JSPM (Tathawade)
    2. Indira Group of Institute (Tathawade)
    3. Bharati Vidyapeeth University (Kothrud)
    4. Sinhgad College of Engineering (Vadgaon Budruk)
    5. Bharati Vidyapeeth University (Katraj)
    Along with these the student special service also caters to students from nearby colleges.
  • As a Brand Ambassador for redBus in your college, you are expected to spread awareness about the above service available to students from your college. This will include the following tasks:
    1. Put up redBus posters at 4 to 5 high-visibility places like near the gate of the college, the official notice board, Canteen Area, etc.
    2. Place Pamphlets/ Tent cards in canteens and near the exit gate counter of the college or any other places highly frequented by students.
    3. Share redBus promotional mailers with your friends/ classmates/ juniors/ seniors using common college ids or any other email ids of theirs that you are aware of.
    4. Post redBus related Statuses/ Images/ Links/ Articles on your College's Facebook Groups/ Pages or any other Social Media Pages of your College
    5. Hold discussions with your friends or other outstation students whom you know to make them aware of the redBus service available to them & how they can benefit from them.
  • Submit proof of the promotions done by you via Pictures and Videos, as directed by the Project Manager.

Expected Project Output

1. Put up 5 Posters at various high visibility zones within the Campus
2. Place Pamphlets/ Tent Cards at 2 high footfall zones within the Campus
3. Share 1 Mailer every week with all the students
4. Post at least 2 times a week on your College's Facebook Groups/ Other Social Media Pages or Groups
5. Hold at least 1 discussion each week with at least 5 students

Type of Interaction

Virtual with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 10 hours/week. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
