Meritnation has now outsourced their Business Development functions for specific Cities to OysterConnect.com, who in turn is providing the same as a Part-time opportunity to individuals who want to take up such part-time/ freelance opportunities in the field of Sales & Business Development. This project will be hence managed end-to-end by Project Managers at OysterConnect.com including Selection of Candidates, Training & Assessment, Target & Task Allocations, Release of Certificates & Monetary Compensation, etc. (NOTE: All Certificates will contain both Meritnation & OysterConnect Logos).

Project Steps

  • Freelancers/ Part-time professionals working on this project will be expected to engage with Potential Customers of Meritnation in order to help them understand the benefits of the Meritnation E-Learning Products and complete the buying process for the same.
  • This will require you to complete the following steps:
    1. Fetch Customer Leads via Meritnation's Applect CRM App (An Android based Mobile App for Sales Representatives). These leads will be details of people (Parents or Their Children studying in 6th to 10th Standards) who have newly registered or have shown interest in the Meritnation Products and have asked for a Demo of the same before buying it.
    2. Call the Customer from the App to validate the Level of Interest of the Lead and then set up an Appointment for the Product Demo.
    3. Meet the Customer at their residence to demonstrate the product, pitch to them the benefits and services of Meritnation Products, and then Get the Customer to buy their chosen product using Online Payment.
    4. At the end of the meeting, get a Feedback Form filled by the customer to know their experiences of the products so far, and the reason for them buying or not buying the same.
  • NOTE: You will also be required to update the Call Statuses, Appointment Details, Meeting Statuses, etc. from regularly using the Applect CRM App and also some Online Report/ Information Forms provided by the OysterConnect Project Manager.

Expected Project Output

Close at least 5 Meritnation Product Sales per month (each of whose Cart Value should be Rs. 10,000/- or more)

Rewards & Benefits

2. For every lead generation phone call (duration has to be for a minimum of 2 mins) you will get paid Rs 6/-
3. For every visit for a face to face Product Demonstration Meeting, you will be paid Rs 100/-
4. For every lead that gets closed (Total Cart Value of Rs. 10,000/- or more), you will be paid Rs 2,000/- per closed lead.

Selection Process
1. Once you have applied to the project, you will be sent an Interest Confirmation Email containing a small survey to help us know you better.
2. After you have filled this survey to confirm your interest, the Project Manager will Call you for a short Telephonic Interview.
3. On the basis of your performance in this Interview you will be selected and provided an Offer Letter (NOTE: You should be ready to start working within 2 days of having received the Offer Letter).
4. Post selection, you will be trained appropriately by the Project Manager. The rest of the details (Targets, documents and processes) will also be shared with you alongside.

Any Additional Information

This is a Part-Time/ Freelance Opportunity which will require you to do Field Work in your own locations/ cities. Selected people will be expected to work min. 2 - 4 hrs/ day, 6 days per week. The hours can be determined as per your own convenience. All interaction with the OysterConnect Project Manager will happen over Email/ Group Chat/ Phone. You will not be required to visit OysterConnect's or Meritnation's Offices at any time during the project.
