TripAdvisor has partnered with OysterConnect.com to launch a nationwide Hotels & Restaurant Co-Branding Initiative, who in turn is providing the same as a Part-time opportunity to individuals who want to take up such part-time/ freelance opportunities in the field of Marketing & Branding. This project will be hence managed end-to-end by Project Managers at OysterConnect.com including Selection of Candidates, Training & Assessment, Target & Task Allocations, Release of Certificates & Monetary Compensation, etc. (NOTE: All Certificates will contain both TripAdvisor & OysterConnect Logos).

Project Steps

  • Go through the List of Hotels / Restaurants provided to you by the Project Manager and Contact the Manager (via Call) to discuss the following:
    1. Tell them about their current Ratings & Reviews on TripAdvisor.
    2. Tell them that the next step in their engagement with TripAdvisor is to showcase TripAdvisor's Sticker on their Hotel's Front door, Reception Desk, or any other place that gets maximum eyeballs from visitors.
    3. Once convinced, get the confirmed Address of the Hotel where the Stickers should be couriered
    4. Courier the Stickers to the Hotel Manager and send a confirmation mail to the Hotel Manager with a copy marked to the Project Manager.
  • Once the Hotel Manager has received the courier,
    1. Call them up and tell them how the stickers are to be pasted and the photos that they should click and send to you for further approval purposes
    2. Follow up with the Hotel Manager subsequently until you get the photos from them
  • After you have gotten the photos from the Hotel Manager, upload the Pictures & Hotel Details onto a Data Collection Mobile App (The project manager will train you on how to use the App before the project starts).
  • Alternatively, the above activities can also be conducted via Fieldwork and direct face-to-face meetings with the Hotel/ Restaurant owners in case they are in the same city as yours. In case you choose this option, the Project Manager will brief you on all the details of the same at the time of project initiation.

Expected Project Output

Complete the Co-Branding of min. 20 Hotels/ Restaurants per week (Via Fieldwork or Telephonic Engagement) = Approx. 80 to 100 Hotel/ Restaurants per Month.

Who Should Apply to this Project
1. People willing to spend a minimum of 2 - 4 hours per day, 5 to 6 days a week, OR, 10 - 12 hours during the weekends, for 3 months on this project (The contract will be renewed every 3 months if both parties are interested).
2. Tech Savvy - people who are comfortable with new age technological platforms and collaborative tools.
3. You also need to own a Smartphone (Android/ iOS), a Laptop/ Desktop and have a high speed Internet Connection on your phone or at your home.
4. Committed - people who are self driven and are committed to carry out the assigned responsibilities in a consistent and committed manner.
5. Target Oriented - people who have the drive to go the extra mile and achieve the predefined targets and deadlines.
6. People who have a flair for selling, have good interpersonal skills, are good at convincing people and are looking to pick up skills or experience in Marketing/ Branding/ customer engagement/ etc.

Selection & Onboarding:
1. A short Telephonic Interview will be conducted with interested candidates, during which they will be asked to confirm their personal and work-ex details, their current engagements (if any), their availability and aptitude for this project.
2. Once shortlisted from the telephonic round, the candidate will be asked to go through the Project Training Materials provided and complete the Project Assessment.
3. Basis their performance in this assessment, they will be selected and put on a probation period of 2 weeks during which the candidate will be expected to meet some base min. numbers/ targets.
4. Once they have passed probation, you will be confirmed for this Part-time Opportunity and provided an Offer Letter. They will also be provided weekly targets and the Project Manager will continue to assess their performance on a weekly basis and gap training will be provided wherever required.
5. At the end of successful completion of the work period and associated targets, they will be provided with a Work-Ex Certificate. Stipends earned during this period will be released on a Monthly basis.

Terms & Conditions:
The TripAdvisor Stickers that will be provided to you by the Project Manager is for your use during the project period only. Any leftover stickers remaining with you after completion of the project targets or in case you are dropping out from the project, need to be returned to the Project manager within 1 week of your exit from the project. Type of Interaction

Virtual with Field Work, with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 20-25 hours/week. Student will be required to do field work in the specified location. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
