Project Steps

    • Project Schedule/ Timeline: This is a Project that requires students to conduct Market Research activities (remotely). However, students are expected to have completed their Training & Assessments, well-in-advance of carrying out the actual research. You are also expected to be well-versed with the various activities carried out by Adventure Nation by surfing their online resources. (Total time required for the same will be approx. 3-4 hours)
    • During the Weekdays, whenever you have time:
      1. Read and understand all project related documents - Training Guidelines, Training Videos, FAQs.
      2. Go through the Adventure Portfolio provided to you by the Project Manager and conduct an Online Research of the various packages offered by Adventure Nation.
    • During the Weekends:
      1. Carry out the Market Research activities as per Customer Data sets provided to you for each designated weekend and analyse their interests/intents towards any travel plans in the near future.
      2. If they are interested, then gauge their preferences and areas of interests to offer to them the best fit holiday packages/deals(as per guidelines given during training).
    • NOTE: In some rare cases, the customers may be displeased with their past experiences with Adventure Nation, in such cases do ensure that you take dual care of the customers demands/issues and report the same. Also, after you have submitted the data, the Adventure Nation Team will follow up with the 'Final-stage leads' so generated with you and work towards closing the same. Keeping these things in mind, you should try to convince at least 5 more 'Warm customers' over & above the target taken by you, so that even if some deals do not end up being materialized by the Adventure Nation Team, your target will be completed as per the "Closed" leads.

Expected Project Output

To carry out a minimum of 20 - 30 Surveys Calls as per Customer Data sets provided by the Project Manager and Get min. 5 Validated Hot/ Warm Leads from among them.

Who Should Apply to this Project:
1. People who have a knack for adventure and travel, and can engage with travelers on a personal level to be able to understand their expedition experiences.
2. Students who are currently engaged in Summer Internships but would like to pick another Project Completion Certificate on the side. Students who are on the lookout to add that Extra Edge to their Resume!
3. People who like to work as per their own schedules and are willing to put in 10 hours of work over the weekend, every week.
4. Target Oriented - people who have the drive to go the extra mile and achieve the predefined targets and deadlines.
5. People who have good interpersonal skills, are good at convincing people and are looking to pick up skills or experience in Marketing/ Sales/ Customer Engagement etc.

Once students are selected, the Project Manager will send an Email Invite to all these students to join their project group on "Basecamp3" - A Project Management App & Website. All further interactions between students & the Project Manager will take place via this Basecamp Group. Therefore, please be on the lookout for the Email Invitation and follow the steps mentioned in the email to register and start interacting on the Basecamp.

Type of Interaction

Virtual with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 10 hours/week. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
