Project Steps

  • You will be undergoing an internship for a duration of 2 months. To begin the work, you will be conducting a secondary research in order to gather details on the prospective leads. This would include the names and contact details of the decision makers of the target stores.
  • Then you will be visiting retailers (Fashion Retailers, IT Retailers, Mobile Retailers, Restaurants, Discos) at locations assigned to each one of you, explain them about the LocIT application and get them on board The locations include: 1. Greater Kailash 1 and 2 2. Hauz Khas 3. Connaught Place 4. Rajouri Garden 5. Khan Market
  • Next, all of you are required to schedule a meeting between the interested store's decision makers and the LocIT team. Once the meeting is conducted, it will be counted as one successful lead.
  • After scheduling the meeting, you should prepare a google sheet with the following data: 1. Name of store with its business sector 2. Address of the store 3. A summary of the meeting with the store's decision maker (just include 4-5 bullet points) 4. Date and Venue for the meeting 5. Contact details of the store and the decision maker
  • The selected students will be provided with a training about the application by the LocIT team in order to have a better understanding of the functioning of the application.Along with that, the students will also be provided with an authorization letter by LocIT, an ID Card and a video demonstration of the application.

Expected Project Output

All of you are required to cover at least 50 retailers and get them on board with LocIT and schedule a meeting between the decision maker of the store and the LocIT team.

The stipend will be paid @Rs.300 per lead.

Type of Interaction

Virtual with Field Work, with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 20-25 hours/week. Student will be required to do field work in the specified location. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.

Any Additional Information

1. Once you share the data of the interested retailer and the retailer is verified by the LocIT team, then the LocIT team will get in touch with the retailer and arrange for the meeting. The lead will be considered as valid once the LocIT team meets with the interested retailer. 2. Please note this is a full time summer internship opportunity which requires selected students to work in a dedicated manner to their assigned responsibilities for next 8 weeks. Experience You Will Gain/ Skills You Will Learn: Selling, Product Training, Sales Training, Relationship Management, Networking, Lead Generation Orientation & Training: You will be provided with a Detailed Product Training which you should use to give a demo & training to the Retailers.
