Project Steps

  • Students will be primarily expected to engage with People in their Personal Network (Family Friends/ Own Family/ Relatives/ Family Friends/ Neighbors/ etc.) who have children studying in 6th to 10th standards, and convince them to buy Meritnation's Online Study Packages for their children.
  • This will require the following steps:
    1. Identify households in your network/ neighborhood/ locality ((Family Friends/ Own Family/ Relatives/ Family Friends/ Neighbors/ etc.) who have children studying in 6th to 10th standards. Target households where you personally know the Parents & Children as it will be an added advantage while convincing them to use Meritnation)
    2. Call up the points of contact in the households, tell them about Meritnation and how it can be beneficial for their children, and set up the appointment for when you can visit them to Demonstrate the Meritnation Materials to them.
    3. Next, Meet the potential Customer at their residence (on the appointed date & time) to demonstrate the product, pitch to them the benefits and services of Meritnation Products, and if the Customer is interested, get them to buy their chosen product using Online Payment.
    4. At the end of the meeting, Fill a Feedback Form to know the Customer's experiences & feedback on the Meritnation e-learning products, and the reason for them buying or not buying the same.
    5. If the customer wants to take some time to think about it, do follow up with them appropriately and get them to buy the product, if they are interested.
  • NOTE: The total sales amount/ cart value for each customer sales should be min. Rs. 10,000/- or more.

Expected Project Output

1. Close at least 1 Meritnation Product Sale (whose Total Cart Value is Rs. 10,000/- or more) from among your network (friends/ family/ relatives/ neighbors/ etc.).
2. Recruit at least 1 Successor (your Friend/ Classmate/ Batchmate/ etc.) who should Apply and Start working on this project along with you or after your project completion.

Type of Interaction

Virtual with Field Work, with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 20-25 hours/week. Student will be required to do field work in the specified location. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
