Project Steps

  • Students will be expected to engage with potential Customers of Meritnation in order to help them understand the benefits of the Meritnation E-Learning Products and complete the buying process for the same.
  • This will require the students to complete the following steps:
    1. Fetch Customer Leads via the CRM App. These will be details of people (Parents or Their Children studying in 6th to 10th Standards) who have newly registered or have shown interest in the Meritnation Products and have asked for a Demo of the same before buying it.
    2. Call the Customer from the App to validate the Level of Interest of the Lead and then set up an Appointment for the Product Demo.
    3. Meet the Customer at their residence to demonstrate the product, pitch to them the benefits and services of Meritnation Products, and then Get the Customer to buy their chosen product using Online Payment.
    4. At the end of the meeting, get a Feedback Form filled by the customer to know their experiences of the products so far, and the reason for them buying or not buying the same.
  • Students will be required to use an Android based CRM App (will be provided at the time of project initiation) to manage and update all the Lead Details. The App will allow the students to do the following: Fetch the Leads one at a time, Call the Customer from the App itself, Update the Call Details, Enter the Meeting Details, Update the Meeting Status and Sales Closure Details.

Expected Project Output

Close at least 5 Product Sales for Meritnation via Product Demos & Face-to-Face Meetings with Customers

Who Should Apply to this Project
1. Students who have their own conveyances for travelling purposes or are otherwise willing to travel via public conveyance.
2. Students who own a Laptop and Internet Connection and are willing to carry the same at the time of meeting customers.
3. Students who have a flair for selling, or have good interpersonal skills, or are good at convincing people, or Students looking to take up Sales & Business Development as their Career Paths.
4. Students who are looking for a PPI Opportunity in Sales & Business Development.

Type of Interaction

Virtual with Field Work, with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 20-25 hours/week. Student will be required to do field work in the specified location. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
