Project Steps

  • Each Student will be allocated a Single Retail Store/ Outlet for Auditing, by the Project Manager. Students will be allowed to choose their preferred store from a List.
  • Students will be required to visit the allocated/ chosen outlet and conduct the Retail Audit at the store as follows:
    1. Tell the Retailer about the Audit and the data that you would require from them and get the Retailer's permission to conduct the Audit at their store.
    2. Prepare a detailed list for the outlet containing the names of all competitor products (SKU wise), inventory of the stock and sales data of the previous month. This list will be available to you via an Online Excel Sheet that you should fill & update at the Retailer location.
    3. Submit the Audit Data to the Project Manager for further validation & approvals purposes.
  • NOTE: Total Audit Time at the Outlet may be about 1.5 hours (inclusive of all interruptions).

Expected Project Output

Conduct an exhaustive Retail Audit of min. 1 assigned Store/ Outlet within the given deadline.

Students who do up-to 5 or more Retail Audits with other assigned stores, will be given:
1. Certificate of Excellence for Surplus Output
2. A Monetary Incentive of Rs. 600/-

Type of Interaction

Virtual with Field Work, with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 20-25 hours/week. Student will be required to do field work in the specified location. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
