Project Steps

  • Students will be required to join the Airtel Staff at their nearby Airtel Stores to help incoming customers to link their Aadhar Cards to their Mobile Numbers. Students will also be required to use Airtel's inbuilt software to recommend & educate the customers on more products & services customized to their individual usage.
  • Before reporting to their assigned Airtel Store, students will be required to Undertake a One-day Training at an Airtel Centre (will be communicated by Project Manager) to learn how to engage with customers at the Airtel Store, details of the products & services, how to use the softwares involved in servicing the customer requirements, etc.
  • Once trained, students will be required to Visit their designated Airtel Centre 6 days a week (Mon to Sat) for a 8 hour shift (will be pre-determined as per your convenience) and engage with incoming customers to resolve their requirements/ complaints.

Expected Project Output

1. Maintain your Attendance at your designated Airtel Store diligently (as per your allocated shift timings) without fail.
2. Engage with Customers as per the training given and try to service all their requirements satisfactorily.
3. Provide referrals of friends who had like to take up this work in the same or other stores (T&Cs around the same will be communicated at the time of your selection)

Students working on this project will get first-hand experience of engaging with customers, how to understand their requirements and provide appropriate solutions. Students will also learn how to engage with various types of people and handle themselves in various situations. Working on the front-end of a huge brand like Airtel will help students to take better decisions and understand the back-end processes or strategies when they join the Corporates in the future.

Type of Interaction

Internship with Field Work and flexible work hours. Student will be expected to work 6 days per week. Student will be required to do field work within their specified location(s). All interaction with Project Manager will happen over Email/ Group Chat/ Phone. No need to visit the office.
