Quikr is India’s no.1 online classifieds platform, a place where people can connect with each other to buy or sell goods and services. At Quikr, we have created an online community which is simple and secure. We are constantly innovating so that users can buy and sell in the easiest and most convenient way possible. We recognized that getting a fair price could be a hurdle for our customers, and we developed a Maximum Selling Price (MSP) calculator to help users estimate a reasonable price range. We also pioneered the Missed Call service in India, enabling first time or non internet users in India to give us a missed call so that we can help them post an ad. This way we aim to make people ‘Quikr’ users, perhaps even before they are internet users

Project Steps

  • Design and post advertisements in various categories on the online classifieds portals as a mystery shopper. The list of classifieds sites will be provided by Quikr.
  • Record the ad posting experience in terms of: 1. Ease of posting, 2. Site guidance in ad posting, 3. Site Speed & response while ad posting, image uploads etc. 4. Time taken by site for ads to go live, 5. Post ad engagement by site to consumers via email, SMS, phone etc (for images, to provide information, to convert free ads to premium ads etc.)
  • Record the responses from interested buyers on timely basis in terms of quality and quantity of number of calls received, SMS queries received, Emails received, Quikr Chat messages received or contact through any other social platform (eg.Whatsapp). Quality of responses would mean the seriousness of the buyer. This is to be done using the Ad Details & Response Sheet shared with you by the Project Manager.
  • Finally, take screenshots of the Ad postings and share it with the Project Manager via Google Drive.

Expected Project Output

Complete all the Ad Postings as per the schedule given, Record all the Ad Responses in your Response Sheet and Share the Screenshots of all the Ad Postings as directed by the Project Manager.

Type of Interaction

Virtual with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 10 hours/week. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
