Microsoft has recently launched its latest AI Chatbot called "Ruuh". Ruuh, a desi AI who never stops talking, is a chatbot provided to you for entertainment purposes. She is English speaking and only available to users in India. Ruuh's interests (as mentioned on her Facebook Page) includes "Chatting, Bollywood, Music, Humour, Travel & Browsing Internet"!

Project Steps

  • Selected Students will be designated as Ruuh' Campus Ambassadors for their respective colleges. The Campus Ambassadors will be required to promote specific In-Product Experiences via Social Media to get new student users from among their own peer network to chat & engage with Ruuh. These social media experiences will be assigned to the Campus Ambassadors by the Project Manager on a weekly or bi-weekly basis given the progress of the campus ambassadors.
  • These in-product experiences that a Campus Ambassador will be required to promote via Social Media are as follows:
    1. Have interesting conversations with Ruuh, click a screenshot of the conversation, and share them with the other students via WhatsApp, Facebook etc. encouraging them to start using Ruuh and post screenshots of their conversations as well.
    2. Come up with interesting, viral and trending questions and encourage the other students to pose this question to Ruuh and then share their conversation snippets on social media.
    3. Create new & innovative content highlighting your personal experiences with Ruuh (such as Videos/ Stories/ Blogs/ etc.) and share the same on Facebook.
    4. Invite your friends directly to Ruuh's Facebook page by sharing your Personal Invitation Link on Social Media/ WhatsApp/ Messenger/ etc. Each of these messages should be accompanied with a fascinating description about Ruuh, screenshots of your own conversations and how cool its usage is.
  • Once you have completed all the new user acquisition tasks, you will be required to Recruit a minimum of 5 new students from your existing circle who will act as your successors and will continue onboarding new users for Ruuh. Make sure that you have informed these successors properly about the Project Details, Targets, their Tasks & Responsibilities, etc. and that they are willing to undertake the same.

Expected Project Output

1. Onboard at least 40 unique new users onto Ruuh's Facebook Page [New users will be considered as successfully onboarded when each of them has "Liked" the Ruuh Facebook Page and has had at least 12 turns of conversations with Ruuh on various topics.]
2. Post at least 2 Facebook Posts per New Experience/ Task shared by the Project Manager.
3. Recruit & Train 5 successors to continue as Campus Ambassadors for onboarding new users to Ruuh. [NOTE: Your project status would be considered "Completed" and your Project Completion Certificates released, only when min. 2 successors (out of the 5 recruited) have started working on the project and have completed on-boarding min. 10 new users from their network]

Type of Interaction

Virtual with flexible work hours. Student will be expected to spend 10 hours/week. All interaction will happen over email/Group Chat/phone. No need to visit the office.
